Ami Healy, EdD

Ami Healy, EdD, is the Training and Consultation Supervisor at the Capital Area Intermediate Unit in Pennsylvania, where she focuses on delivering professional development to schools. With 27 years of experience in education, she has worked as a special education teacher, reading specialist, instructional coach, principal, and consultant. Dr. Healy is a local LETRS trainer, Acadience Mentor, and School Improvement Facilitator, guiding schools in developing improvement plans and implementing MTSS frameworks. Leveraging the principles of implementation science, she has guided school teams in adopting universal, equitable practices, selecting evidence-based resources, and creating intentional, multi-year plans for ongoing professional development and coaching. Dr. Healy holds a doctorate in reading science from Mount St. Joseph University.
